Senior Knowledge Transfer Specialist

We have an opportunity for a

Senior Knowledge Transfer Specialist

to join our Support Operations team in Trivandrum, reporting to the manager of Technical Support. In this pivotal role, you will provide technical assistance to Infoblox customers. This involves responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and web, diagnosing and analyzing problems, and providing workarounds for customers. This is a complex, fast-paced environment, and you will own the most critical part of the customer experience.

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with management, mentors, quality analysts, and subject matter experts to identify training needs
  • Design training based on the identified needs
  • Plan appropriate training sessions, and support/engineering Transfer of Information (TOI)
  • Create, conduct, and maintain onboarding plans for new hires
  • Prepare training materials in various formats such as videos, presentations, and documents
  • Conduct skill ratings for employees to identify knowledge gaps and training needs
  • Maintain support training infrastructure, including training content and labs

Be Prepared — What You Bring

  • 4+ years of remote technical support, systems administration, and network administration background desirable
  • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols
  • Solid knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and other product-related protocols and technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of one or more operating systems such as Microsoft or Linux is desirable
  • Working knowledge of L2 and L3 devices
  • Solid customer service skills
  • Outstanding analytical and organizational ability
  • Self-starter and a good team player with the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure, fast-paced, fast-growth environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is required

Be Successful — Your Path

First 90 Days:

  • Complete customer-facing training courses and get DDI certifications
  • Start delivering product training to newly hired Infoblox enterprise engineers

Six Months:

  • Work with your team to coordinate training developments
  • Coordinate TOI delivery from cross-functional departments

One Year:

  • Identify the skill gaps among engineers and develop training modules
  • Be involved in mentoring engineers who are starting to work on customer tickets
  • Become proficient in product knowledge to deliver customer/partner training if needed
  • Perform regular reviews of onboarding curriculum and make necessary modifications
