Job Description

Job Title: Senior Java Developer Location: Airoli, Mumbai (Onsite) Industry: BFSI / Fintech About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in developing scalable, high-performance applications. You will play a critical role in building low-latency, high-throughput systems focused on risk and fraud monitoring in the BFSI domain. Key Responsibilities Design and develop microservices using Java (latest versions) , Spring Boot , and RESTful APIs Build robust data streaming solutions using Apache Flink and Kafka Implement business rules using Drools Rule Engine Contribute to the development of low-latency, high-throughput platforms for fraud detection and risk monitoring Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines with a strong focus on Test-Driven Development (TDD) Debug complex issues and take full ownership from design to deployment Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in cloud-native development using AWS (IaaS / PaaS) Required Skills Java , Spring Boot , REST APIs , Virtual Threads Apache Flink , Kafka – real-time data stream processing Drools Rule Engine Strong grasp of J2EE , OOP principles , and Design Patterns Experience working with CI/CD tools , Git , Quay , TDD Familiarity with Cloud-native solutions, especially in AWS environments Preferred Experience BFSI / Fintech domain experience in building risk and fraud monitoring applications Exposure to Agile methodology and tools like JIRA Solid communication skills and strong sense of ownership Show more Show less
