About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of robust and scalable Java-based applications.
• Champion Test-Driven Development by writing and maintaining unit and integration tests before implementing code.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Own and drive critical modules and mentor junior developers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Ensure high code quality through continuous integration, code reviews, and static code analysis.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and implement fixes and enhancements.
• Guide best practices for testing, automation, and CI/CD.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust Java-based applications.
• Champion TDD practices by writing comprehensive unit and integration tests before development.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Strong command over Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, TestNG.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Good understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Git workflows.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based development environments.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps culture and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful API design.
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong experience with TDD using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in Git, Maven/Gradle, and build automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
