Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a

  trusted technical advisor

  to customers, solving complex architectural and development challenges.
• Design, develop, and document technical solutions to meet business requirements.
• Contribute to

  application migration and modernization programs

  , recommending approaches and estimating effort.
• Develop and maintain

  RESTful and SOAP web services

  , ensuring security through

  JWT token validation

• Leverage

  Swagger

  or equivalent tools for API documentation and design.
• Work with

  messaging tools

  such as RabbitMQ or Kafka to support distributed architectures
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes, consolidate documentation, and coordinate with upstream and downstream systems
• Participate in

  continuous improvement activities

  , ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and monitoring
• Create and present proposals to customers, detailing solution scope, impact, and cost considerations.

Requirements Must Have

• 6-9 years of overall Java development experience
• Strong expertise in

  Core Java

• Hands-on experience with

  Spring / Spring Boot / JPA

• Proficiency with

  Hibernate

  or other ORM frameworks
• Experience in developing

  RESTful services

• Working knowledge of

  SOAP services

• Familiarity with

  Swagger

  or other API design tools (1 year, optional)
• Experience with

  messaging platforms

  such as RabbitMQ or Kafka (1+ year)
• Exposure to

  cloud platforms

  (AWS, GCP, or Azure) (1 year, optional)
• Strong database knowledge and development tools expertise
• Understanding of

  SDLC methodologies

  (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Proficiency with

  API testing tools

  (Postman)
• Experience with

  API monitoring/observability tools

  (e.g., Dynatrace)
• Strong

  communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to perform

  requirement analysis

  and prepare design documentation
