Visual design excellence & conversion focus:

• Create visually stunning, modern interfaces that elevate DHL’s digital brand while driving measurable conversion improvements
• Design compelling and intuitive visual hierarchies that guide users seamlessly through complex logistics workflows and decision points, across desktop, mobile platforms
• Design innovative solutions for challenging e-commerce problems like multi-service comparisons, international shipping options and delivery tracking
• Develop data-driven design hypotheses and translate insights into actionable visual improvements
• Optimize conversion-critical touchpoints while maintaining accessibility standards across all interactions, based on A/B test results and user behavior data
• Develop scalable design patterns that work across DHL’s diverse service offerings

Global Accessibility Excellence:

• Apply WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards to logistics interfaces used by customers with varying technical literacy and abilities
• Ensure critical shipping flows (address entry, service selection, payment) are fully accessible across assistive technologies
• Design inclusive experiences for DHL’s global user base, considering cultural and linguistic diversity
• Address accessibility challenges specific to complex data displays (tracking timelines, shipping rates, delivery maps)
• Collaborate with localization teams to maintain accessibility standards across multiple languages and regions

Collaboration & Communication:

• Partner with UX researchers to design prototypes for usability testing and translate findings into design improvements
• Partner with developers to ensure design implementation maintains accessibility standards
• Present design concepts and accessibility rationale to stakeholders at all levels
• Facilitate design reviews that incorporate both accessibility checkpoints and performance metrics analysis

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

• 8-10 years of professional experience as a visual designer, interaction designer, with demonstrable impact on business metrics
• Exceptional visual design portfolio showcasing modern, conversion focused digital experiences. Proven ability to create designs that are both visually striking and commercially successful.
• Experience designing for global, multi-market platforms with diverse user needs.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret A/B test results, conversion metrics and user behavior data.
• Experience designing for experimentation – creating testable design variations and understanding statistical significance.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, with multidisciplinary backgrounds such as psychology, computer science, information sciences, human/computer interface design or commerce/business.
