Senior IT Project Manager - PMO

Role Overview: As a Senior IT Project Manager at Flex in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing IT projects. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, project management, stakeholder engagement, resource management, risk management, performance monitoring, team leadership, and project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic plans for IT projects and programs aligned with organizational objectives - Participate as a Tower lead in the IT Corporate PMO org to ensure consistency in approach, tooling, and methodologies - Oversee multiple projects and programs to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints - Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and external partners - Allocate resources effectively across projects to ensure optimal utilization and balance competing priorities - Implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across projects - Monitor project performance, provide regular updates to senior leadership, and recommend improvements - Lead and mentor project managers and teams to foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent experience) - Minimum of 12 years of IT experience with 5-6 years managing projects for multinational organizations - Experience in a PMO environment with a deep understanding of project management methodologies - Ability to bring complex projects to realization in a timely manner to meet business goals - Mandatory certifications such as PMP, PgMP, ITIL, or ITSM If you are excited about joining Flex, a diversified manufacturing partner that values diversity and inclusion, you will be part of a collaborative environment that offers health insurance and paid time off.
