Senior IT Project Manager - PMO

As a Senior IT Project Manager - PMO at Flex located in Chennai, you will play a vital role in developing and managing IT projects to ensure their successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing project plans, communication plans, allocating tasks, setting milestones, and monitoring progress - Participating as a Tower lead in the IT Corporate PMO org to ensure consistency in approach, tooling, and methodologies - Overseeing the management of multiple projects and programs - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders - Allocating resources effectively across projects and programs - Implementing risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks - Monitoring and evaluating project and program performance, providing updates to senior leadership - Leading and mentoring project managers and teams to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent experience) - Total 12+ years of experience in IT with 5-6 years of experience in supporting and managing IT Projects and Programs for multinational organizations - Experience working in a PMO environment with a deep understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices - PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certifications, ITIL, or ITSM certifications mandatory Desired experiences include: - Strong strategic thinking and planning skills - Experience in change management and organizational transformation - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of related software tools such as PlainView, MS Project, Smart Sheets In return for your contributions, you will receive benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.
