Annapurna Finance Pvt. Ltd. (AMPL) is one of the fastest growing NBFC-MFIs in India, with origins in the early 1990s as a not-for-profit entity named Peoples Forum. The microfinance activities began under Mission Annapurna in 2005 and transformed into Annapurna Finance Pvt Ltd in 2009. By 2013, AMPL registered with the Reserve Bank of India as an NBFC-MFI. Annapurna focuses on providing need-based financial services to economically backward clients, particularly in areas overlooked by formal financial institutions.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Internal Auditor located in Imphal. The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting financial audits, preparing audit reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. They will also analyze data to identify financial discrepancies, recommend improvements in internal controls, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding audit findings.

Qualifications

Experience in preparing Audit Reports and conducting Financial Audits
Strong Analytical Skills and knowledge of Finance
Excellent Communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies and suggest improvements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA) are a plus
Prior experience in the microfinance or banking sector is advantageous
