Job Description

As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will play a crucial role in understanding clients" requirements, identifying learning needs, and designing and developing effective learning solutions for Web-Based Trainings (WBTs), Instructor-Led Trainings (ILTs), and Virtual Instructor-Led Trainings (VILTs). Your responsibilities will include comprehending client content and requirements to propose optimal learning solutions and Proof of Concepts (POCs). You will be tasked with creating strategy documents, defining learning objectives, and outlining content. Developing storyboards with impactful designs, engaging narration, and effective assessments will be a key part of your role. Adhering to standards, branding, and project guidelines is essential to ensure high-quality and aligned learning solutions. Quality assurance of the learning solutions to meet client requirements will also fall under your purview. Effective communication with clients, stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and internal teams is critical for successful project execution. You will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, showcasing strong time management skills to meet deadlines. Additionally, nurturing and mentoring instructional designers in the team to ensure quality output will be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 2 years of experience in instructional design. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary. A deep understanding of Instructional Design (ID) theories and practices, including content chunking and parallelism, and the ability to apply them effectively are required. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, along with storyboard design skills, is essential. Familiarity with content development tools like Articulate Storyline, Captivate, etc., is a must. The ability to independently develop technical and non-technical courses at entry and advanced levels is expected. Creativity in designing various training products for different geographies and target audiences is highly valued. Being accountable for deliverables and displaying flexibility to work within tight timelines are key attributes of a successful candidate. Moreover, the capability to manage a small team of 2-3 members and collaborate effectively is essential for this role.,
