Location:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support high-performance compute clusters.
• Possess strong knowledge of HPC systems, including CPU/GPU architecture, scalable and robust storage, high-bandwidth interconnects, and cloud-based computing architectures.
• Generate hardware BOMs for HPC clusters, manage vendors, and oversee hardware release activities.
• Configure appropriate Linux operating systems for HPC systems.
• Gather and assemble project specifications and performance requirements at both subsystem and system levels, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Support the design and release of new products to manufacturing and customers by providing golden images, procedures, scripts, and documentation.
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven, in-depth, and distribution-agnostic knowledge of Linux systems (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu).
• Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining robust storage solutions.
• Strong HPC hardware knowledge, especially in servers, GPUs, networking, storage, BIOS, and BMC.
• Experience with System-D, Net boot/PXE, and Linux HA.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and related protocols (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP).
• Ability to code and develop Shell and Python scripts.
• Experience with one or more configuration management utilities (Salt, Chef, Puppet, etc.).
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong DevOps focus: experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Git-based repository management, and containerization (Singularity, Docker).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience with Apache/Nginx, proxy/reverse proxy setups, application server routing, and load balancing (HA Proxy).
• Educational qualification: BE/BTech or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. MCA/MSc also accepted. Diplomas or standalone 3-year degrees (BCA/BSc) are not considered.
• 6 to 10 years of validated professional experience.

• TCP/IP fundamentals
• Stable career history (minimum 2 years in each organization).
• No employment gaps.
• Only candidates with BE/BTech/MCA/MSc (not diploma or 3-year standalone degrees).
• Candidates with exclusive DevOps profiles are not a fit.
