Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Sr. Graphic Designer / Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing eye-catching book covers, ensuring precise alignment and layout of interior pages, and creating other essential graphics that reflect Vibrant Publishers’ brand identity and quality standards. This role requires strong creative skills, technical expertise in publishing design, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design attractive and market-appropriate book covers for print and digital formats.

● Check and adjust the alignment, spacing, and layout of text and images in book interiors.

● Collaborate with editors, content teams, and marketing to translate concepts into visual designs.

● Prepare print-ready files and ensure compliance with printing and publishing specifications.

● Maintain consistency of design and branding across all projects.

● Contribute creative ideas for new book concepts and marketing materials.

● Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

● Stay updated on design trends, software updates, and publishing standards.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.

● Proven experience (4–6 years) in graphic design, preferably in publishing or print media.

● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and CorelDraw.

● Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

● Keen eye for detail and high standards for accuracy and alignment.

● Ability to handle feedback and collaborate effectively.

● Excellent organizational and time management skills.

● Portfolio showcasing relevant design work, especially book covers or editorial design.
