Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled

Data Engineer

with hands-on experience in

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

and

BigQuery

to design and build efficient, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines and platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and a solid background in data processing using

PySpark

and

SQL

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy scalable data pipelines and processing solutions on GCP
Work extensively with BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics
Design and optimize data workflows using PySpark and SQL
Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across platforms
Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and application teams to integrate data-driven features
Contribute to architecture design, code reviews, and process automation
Maintain and monitor data solutions to support business objectives

Must-Have Skills

6+ years of software development experience
Strong expertise in GCP and BigQuery
Proficient in SQL and PySpark
Experience in building large-scale data processing pipelines
Solid understanding of application design, software development, and automated testing

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
Familiarity with CI/CD practices in data engineering projects
Exposure to data governance, security, and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
GCP certification (e.g., Professional Data Engineer) is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
