Are you a highly experienced and passionate game developer looking to start the step up to a leadership role? Alantrix Geim Studios is seeking a Senior Game Developer to lead the development of engaging games and help mentor a team of talented developers. This senior position offers the opportunity to drive significant projects, innovate game design, and contribute to the strategic direction of our titles.

Responsibilities:

• Push the boundaries of design and implement complex game features and core mechanics.
• Architect and maintain game systems, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, advocating for their adoption when beneficial.
• Oversee debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts to ensure high-quality, stable game releases.
• Drive proficiency and best practices in programming and scripting languages such as C++, C#, or Java within the team.
• Push game optimization efforts across various platforms, setting performance benchmarks.
• Champion rigorous testing and iterative refinement of gameplay elements to achieve exceptional player experiences.
• Help define and enforce best practices in version control and code management.
• Help mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering their growth and skill development.
• Collaborate closely with junior team members, team leadership, and other stakeholders to translate vision into technical reality.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Effective proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java.
• Real expertise with popular game development engines like Unity, Cocos, and Godot, including engine-level customization.
• Strong command of development tools such as Obj-C, Flutter, Swift.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and solve challenging problems in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a track record of effective debugging, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of game design principles, advanced mechanics, and player psychology.
• Expertise in 2D and 3D graphics concepts, rendering pipelines, and optimization techniques.
• A profound passion for gaming and a demonstrated commitment to growing as a technical leader in a creative and collaborative environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant game industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Strong experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) in a team environment.
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies and scrum teams.
• Experience integrating and leveraging AI tools and machine learning techniques in game development.
• Expertise in various scripting languages and their application in game development.
• Relevant Game-related degree (e.g., Computer Science, Game Development).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹2,000,000.00 per year
