Role Overview

We’re hiring our Founding Full Stack Engineer.

You’ll be at the core of building and scaling SpatialChat from the ground up. Expect to:

• Own the entire tech stack (frontend, backend, infrastructure)
• Design real-time systems for video, audio, and multiplayer interactions
• Build scalable features for thousands of concurrent users
• Collaborate closely with a small, scrappy team

This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape the product, own decisions, and ship fast.

• A team player who collaborates effectively with non-technical teams and brings strong communication skills to ensure smooth product development.
• 5+ years building production applications with TypeScript
• Deep experience with real-time systems (WebRTC, WebSockets)
• PostgreSQL optimization & API design (REST/gRPC)
• Startup mentality: scrappy, self-driven, thrives with ownership
• Bonus: LMS integrations, enterprise authentication (SAML/LDAP), microservices
