Senior Finance Manager

As the Senior Finance Manager at BimaKavach, your main responsibility is to safeguard the financial health of the company and ensure strict adherence to all IRDAI regulations through expert financial management and reporting. By fulfilling this role, you will significantly contribute to the company's financial stability, regulatory compliance, and informed strategic decision-making. Your key responsibilities will include driving financial strategy and execution in alignment with business goals and IRDAI regulations, overseeing all financial operations and reporting to guarantee accuracy and timely compliance, establishing and maintaining internal financial controls and processes, leading budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insightful financial analysis for strategic decisions, managing relationships with auditors, advisors, and regulatory bodies, monitoring cash flow for liquidity and regulatory compliance, evaluating investments and financial opportunities, developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and IRDAI regulations, mentoring and developing the finance team, collaborating with other departments to provide financial support, managing tax planning and compliance, assessing and mitigating financial risks, and facilitating audits. You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a Professional Accounting Certification (e.g., CA, CPA). The role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management or a similar role, with recent experience at an Insurance broking firm. Occasional domestic travel for regulatory meetings and audits is expected. Proficiency in IRDAI regulations and reporting for insurance, strong accounting skills (IFRS/GAAP) and financial statement expertise, advanced budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning skills, financial modeling and analysis capabilities, knowledge of investment appraisal and treasury management, understanding of tax laws and compliance, as well as GST and IT compliance are essential qualifications.
