Role Overview

The Senior Executive – Technical Recruitment will be responsible for end-to-end hiring of technical roles across engineering, product, and IT functions. This role requires hands-on recruitment expertise, a strong understanding of technical skill sets, and the ability to work in a structured, accountability-driven environment.


The role is critical to building high-quality, scalable, and performance-oriented technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Recruitment

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical roles including software engineers, product roles, QA, DevOps and IT support.
  • Understand technical requirements and convert them into clear hiring criteria.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role expectations and hiring timelines.
  • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals and internal databases.
  • Conduct initial HR screening and coordinate technical interviews.
  • Ensure hiring quality with focus on skills, mindset, ownership and cultural alignment.

 

Hiring Operations

  • Handle the complete recruitment lifecycle from requisition to onboarding.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers, hiring dashboards and MIS reports.
  • Coordinate offer rollout, negotiation and joining formalities.
  • Track hiring timelines and improve turnaround time without compromising quality.
  • Ensure process compliance and documentation accuracy.

 

Candidate & Stakeholder Management

  • Ensure a professional and transparent candidate experience.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate interview feedback and closure efficiently.
  • Build long-term candidate pipelines for recurring technical requirements.

 

Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline

  • Support employer branding initiatives for technical hiring.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and niche technology roles.
  • Assist in lateral hiring drives and specialised recruitment initiatives.

 

Key Skills & Competencies

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong experience in technical recruitment
  • Understanding of software development roles and technology stacks
  • Hands-on experience with job portals and LinkedIn sourcing
  • Familiarity with ATS and recruitment tracking tools

 

Behavioural Skills

  • Strong ownership and accountability.
  • Process-driven and detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA / Postgraduate degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • 3 - 6 years of experience in technical recruitment.
  • Experience in tech companies or product-based organisations preferred.
  • Exposure to scaling teams and fast-growing environments is an advantage.
