Senior Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Expertise in electrical design of SPM machines, Heavy equipment and large Electromechanical systems using Auto Cad Electrical software
Good understanding with General arrangement and creating Electrical schematics
Knowledge of Control panel design, Safety circuit design, Servo motors & Drives selection.
Knowledge of PLC IO mapping, Field Wiring and Knowledge about Electrical Troubleshooting.
Knowledge of MCC, PCC, VFD panels
Collaborating with cross-functional teams on project delivery
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, function block diagram).
Expertise in using AutoCAD Electrical for electrical design and Knowledge in Solidworks electrical and other electrical design software is a plus.
Knowledge of industrial automation systems and components (e.g., sensors, drives, motors).
Should be familiar with electrical Symbols, electrical standard IEC60617, IEEE Std 315-1975,
Knowledge and hands on experience in ATEX certification, CE certification, UL certification and safety standards is an added advantage.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Communication and teamwork skills

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent.
5-10 years of experience in electrical design, with specific experience in areas like Wiring design for panels, machine drives or industrial automation.
5-10 years of experience in PLC programming
Experience in Creating Electrical drawings, Schematic drawings and Electrical layout drawings
Experience working with wiring harness in SPM machines, control systems and heavy machinery.
Sound Knowledge of PLC Systems, Control panel Layouts, wiring routing.
Experience with specific PLC brands (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and SCADA software may be required.
Hands-on experience with Electrical CAD package experience using AutoCAD, E-PLAN or similar is essential.
Experience in Welding Industry, Industrial Automation Industry, Oil & Gas Industry, Electric Power Generation, Electrical Panel developers etc will be an added advantage.
Proficient in Product Life Cycle Management (PLM).
Experience in New Product Development (NPI) Full product cycle.
Strong Experience in Collaborating with Mechanical and cross Functional teams on understanding requirements to develop and implement new/improve processes.
