Job Title: Senior Service & Repair Engineer – UAV Systems
Location: Multiple Locations / Field Deployment
Role Summary:
The Senior Service & Repair Engineer will be responsible for managing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair operations of UAVs (both fixed-wing and multirotor) across multiple field locations. The role requires strong technical expertise in UAV systems, leadership skills, and hands-on repair capability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee service, repair, and preventive maintenance of UAV systems and subsystems at various locations.
2. Conduct detailed troubleshooting, diagnostics, and fault rectification for avionics, propulsion, and payload systems.
3. Perform soldering, PCB rework, and wiring repairs as required.
4. Utilize configuration and mission planning software such as ArduPilot and Mission Control for UAV setup, calibration, and testing.
5. Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, test logs, and technical reports.
6. Manage spares and consumables inventory at maintenance hubs, ensuring proper tracking and usage.
7. Lead and guide technicians to ensure quality and timely completion of repair tasks.
8. Support flight testing and operational flying of both fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs post-repair.
9. Be willing to travel extensively and undertake long-term deployments at remote customer sites.
10. Use Excel and other tools for data management, service reporting, and performance tracking.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field with 3–6 years of relevant UAV service and repair experience.
