Experience: 12-14 years About Sattva We Partner to deliver social impact at scale Sattva Consulting is a global impact consulting firm from India Since we have been engaging with communities, business and government to achieve societal impact at scale We believe that Civil society, Business and Government all have a critical role to play in building an equitable and sustainable world, and we actively partner with all stakeholders to enable impact through our advisory & orchestration services, knowledge and data platforms which we have built as public goods for the ecosystem and collaborative solutions and partnerships Our teams are based in India, Singapore, Denmark and UK, but as a global organization our work has spanned 25 countries and 5 continents For more information, please visit: The Opportunity We are hiring a Senior Engagement Manager to lead Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) advisory for nonprofit organisations This role combines deep MEL technical expertise with leadership in delivery, stakeholder management, and business growth As a senior leader, you will design robust MEL systems, anchor high-impact delivery, influence nonprofit decision-making, and build multi-year advisory partnerships The role carries a commercial target of 5 Cr in Year 1, reflecting its strategic importance Key Responsibilities Drive Sales & Business Growth (5 Cr) Shape proposals, solution design, budgets, and pricing Drive conversion of MEL opportunities into engagements aligned with nonprofit needs Build multi-year partnerships across nonprofit clients Lead MEL Design & Delivery Architect MEL frameworks, Theories of Change, outcome pathways, measurement indicators, and evaluation strategies Design tools, sampling approaches, and analytical plans for nonprofit programmes Anchor engagements end-to-end to ensure rigour, clarity, insights, and applicability within nonprofit contexts Ensure Quality & Build Capability Set standards for evaluation methodology, field design, analysis, and synthesis Review tools, analysis, and reports to ensure clarity, coherence, and insight Coach teams on MEL design, narrative building, synthesis, and delivery excellence Stay Current & Strengthen MEL Practice Stay abreast of emerging MEL approaches, technology-led monitoring systems, and evaluation best practices Build reusable MEL templates, frameworks, knowledge assets, and reference models Engage Senior Stakeholders Build trusted relationships with nonprofit CEOs/ Founders, MEL heads, programme leaders, and ecosystem collaborators Present insights and recommendations that influence learning, programme design, and strategic decisions Desired Profile 1014 years in MEL design, impact evaluation, research, advisory, or adjacent fields Strong command of MEL architectures, Theory of Change, evaluation frameworks, KPIs, tool design, sampling, and analysis Experience leading MEL engagements and influencing nonprofit leadership Ability to translate insight into practical recommendations fort balancing delivery, advisory, and business growth Added Advantage Sector networks that open nonprofit MEL opportunities Experience shaping proposals and converting opportunities Success in the Role 5 Cr achieved through nonprofit MEL advisory in Year 1 High-impact MEL engagements delivering clear learning and decision value Multi-year partnerships with anchor nonprofit clients Recognisable elevation of MEL rigour, frameworks, and advisory quality Why Sattva?
