Senior DevOps Software Engineer

Azure Platform Ownership Design, implement, and maintain a scalable Azure cloud platform supporting a SaaS application Own core Azure services including compute, networking, storage, identity, and security Establish standards for environment design (dev, test, staging, production) Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance across the platform

CI/CD & Release Engineering

Design and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for build, test, and deployment

Implement automated deployments for .NET / ASP.NET / .NET Core applications Enable safe deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, feature flags where applicable) Embed quality, security, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines Improve deployment speed, reliability, and rollback capabilities

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or equivalent) Automate environment provisioning and teardown Reduce manual operational work through scripting and automation Standardize platform patterns to improve consistency and reduce drift

Security, Reliability & Operations

Partner with security teams to implement secure-by-default platform configurations Manage secrets, identity, and access using Azure-native tooling Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure strong observability Own incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements Drive reliability engineering practices (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets where appropriate)

Developer Enablement & Collaboration

Work closely with software engineers to improve developer experience and productivity Provide guidance on application architecture from a platform and operational perspective Participate in design reviews to ensure solutions are deployable, scalable, and supportable Serve as a technical partner rather than a gatekeeper

Continuous Improvement

Continuously evaluate platform performance, cost, and reliability Optimize Azure spend without compromising service quality Stay current with Azure platform capabilities, DevOps tooling, and cloud best practices.

Looking for a candidate 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles

• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in production environments • Strong experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and release automation

• 5+ years of experience supporting .NET / ASP.NET / .NET Core applications, JavaScript as well as Bootstrap Front End Frameworks.

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and familiarity writing medium/complex SQL Statements

• Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD systems at scale

• Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)

• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles

Pay: ₹639,018.63 - ₹2,082,546.54 per year
