Senior DevOps Engineer (Contractor)

.We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure across high-impact environments. In this role, you will work closely with distributed teams to develop scalable infrastructure strategies, implement CI/CD pipelines, and optimize cloud operations. The position offers hands-on involvement in architecture decisions while providing visibility across multiple projects and portfolio companies. Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure strategies in AWS and Azure.
- Develop scalable infrastructure roadmaps based on business requirements and present solutions to stakeholders.
- Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment deployments.
- Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Kubernetes, EKS, Docker, and ECS.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and manage production systems with incident management best practices.
- Optimize infrastructure performance and costs, ensuring high availability and security.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones, ensuring smooth delivery and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional DevOps experience with AWS.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes / EKS, Docker, ECS, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Akamai CDN.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation using Python or Go.
- Familiarity with Azure, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Helm, or advanced EKS scaling.
- Previous experience in consulting or multi-client environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English for client-facing collaboration.
- Ability to work remotely and manage flexible schedules, including occasional late-evening coordination.
