About the Job:
DevOps / Cloud Engineer
You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to streamline build and release processes, implement best practices in infrastructure management, improve system performance, and drive operational excellence across the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure (AWS & Google Cloud)
- Design, manage, and optimize scalable cloud architectures across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work extensively with AWS services: Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, IAM/Identity, SSO.
- Manage and scale GCP services including GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP).
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and cost-optimization strategies across both cloud environments.
Kubernetes & Deployment Management
- Build and maintain production-grade Kubernetes clusters, primarily on GKE.
- Implement GitOps-driven CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD.
- Automate cluster, infrastructure, and environment provisioning following IaC best practices.
Continuous Integration & Automation
- Develop and optimize CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
- Automate environment provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks.
- Ensure high reliability, modularity, and repeatability of build, test, and deployment processes.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation
- Write and maintain IaC templates using Terraform, Helm, and YAML for scalable and reproducible environments.
- Drive infrastructure automation and reduce manual operational overhead.
- Establish DevOps best practices and improve system resilience through automation.
Security & Compliance
- Implement cloud security best practices across AWS and GCP.
- Manage identity, access control, and SSO integrations for internal teams.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce least privilege, compliance, and threat-mitigation policies.
Monitoring, Reliability & Observability
- Set up and maintain end-to-end observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing).
- Ensure SLAs and uptime targets through proactive monitoring and SRE-aligned practices.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure or performance issues at scale.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or related roles.
- Strong expertise in AWS (Lambda, S3, SNS/SQS, IAM/SSO) and GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, IAP).
- Proven experience deploying and managing Kubernetes in production.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, automation, and DevOps principles.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go, or similar).
- Experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, VPNs, VPCs, and zero-trust architecture.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- AWS Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer certification.
- GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer / Architect certification.
- Experience with service meshes, autoscaling, distributed systems.
- Experience with deep performance tuning and cross-cloud cost optimization.
