Role Overview:

Senior Developer or Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using PHP and MariaDB.
  • Collaborate with UI developers and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the technical roadmap.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and conduct code reviews.
  • Optimize existing applications for speed and scalability.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks preferred).
  • Strong experience with 

    MariaDB/MySQL

    , including performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Solid JavaScript experience, with working knowledge of 

    React.js

     preferred.
  • Exposure to 

    Python

     is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Good understanding of software engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and with remote teams in a US time zone.
