Senior Manager – Design (Distribution Transformers)

Voltamp Transformers Ltd. is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Manager – Design to lead our Distribution Transformer design team. This is a leadership role for professionals with deep technical expertise and a passion for mentoring engineering talent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of distribution transformers up to 220 kV
• Manage and mentor a team of 5–10 design engineers
• Ensure compliance with IS/IEC/ANSI standards
• Collaborate across departments to align design with manufacturing and customer requirements
• Drive innovation, cost optimization, and quality in design processes

Qualifications:

• B.E. in Electrical Engineering
• 8–15 years of experience in transformer design
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

About Voltamp Transformers Ltd.:

• Oil-Filled Transformers up to 120 MVA, 220 kV
• Dry-Type Transformers up to 10 MVA, 33 kV
• Compact Substations, RMUs, and nationwide service solutions

We operate four ISO-certified manufacturing facilities in Gujarat with a combined installed capacity of 14,000 MVA, including advanced plants in Makarpura and Savli.
