Desired Profile We are seeking a visionary and result-oriented General Manager (GM) to lead and manage our water and wastewater treatment and Solid waste management division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overall strategic planning, execution, business growth, and operational efficiency of all water-related infrastructure and treatment projects including STP, ETP, UF, and RO plants. The GM will be a key leadership figure in ensuring technical excellence, client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and team performance. JOB Description Key Responsibilities: Handling the complete portfolio of the organization and the business of the company such as solid waste Management and waste water treatment manager, Supervise and receive regular reports from senior managers of respective departments. Develop and implement strategic plans for growth in the water and wastewater treatment sector. Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, Site Engineers, service technicians, and support staff. Oversee Execution planning, design, procurement, and commissioning of STP, ETP, UF, and RO plants. Guide design and process engineering for wastewater treatment technologies like MBBR, SBR, MBR, UF, RO, and tertiary treatments. Monitor project budgets, resource planning, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards. Resolve on-site technical issues and ensure interface coordination between civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation teams. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc.) for smooth project delivery Monitor performance of running plants and ensure continuous, efficient, and compliant operations. Guide O&M teams in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of plant processes. Evaluate and manage project risks, cost control, and resource allocation. Build and lead a high-performing technical and managerial team. Ensure adherence to local and national environmental and wastewater discharge regulations. Maintain all necessary documentation, statutory approvals, and liaison with pollution control boards. Required Skills & Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of wastewater treatment processes (ASP, MBBR, SBR, MBR, etc.). Strong understanding of electromechanical components pumps, blowers, PLC/SCADA systems, etc. Strong grasp of engineering design, P&ID, PFD, and piping and routing details design integration, and electro-mechanical equipment Familiarity with EPC contracts, O&M models, and regulatory frameworks. Education : Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory) Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management (preferred) Experience : Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in Water/Wastewater Treatment, Solid Waste Management, or similar infrastructure sectors. As leadership role. Technical Skills: Strong project management and leadership skills. Proficiency in budgeting, reporting, and team supervision. Knowledge of quality standards in plant commissioning and execution.
