Senior Design Engineer

RIK Industries Private Limited is a furniture manufacturing company located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. We are looking for a profile for a senior design engineer position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of new furniture products from concept to production.
• Create detailed CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and quality control.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing product designs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
• Knowledge in BOM & ERP.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in a design engineering role.
• Furniture manufacturing or interior design experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software and 2D & 3D design in Cabinet Vision or any other furniture software. (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and joinery techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Flat packing layout design will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
