Job Title: Senior Design Engineer – Oil & Gas (Pressure Vessels and ASTM Standards) Company: Wootz works lab Pvt Ltd.Location: Pimple Saudagar, Pune, Maharashtra Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Lead the mechanical design of pressure vessels, heat exchanger s, and process skids. Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII, API standards, and ASTM material codes. Conduct FEA simulations (structural and thermal) using tools like ANSYS. Prepare design calculation reports, fabrication drawings, data sheets, and BOMs. Coordinate with manufacturing and QA/QC teams to ensure design-for-manufacturability. Support documentation such as GA drawings, P&IDs, WPS, and QAPs. Skills Required: Expertise in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or CATIA for 3D modelling AutoCAD for 2D drawings and layout planning ANSYS or similar software for structural and thermal FEA Proficiency in pressure vessel design software such as COMPRESS, PV Elite , or Codeware for ASME/ASTM compliance Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, API 650/620, ASTM material grades, and fabrication standards Understanding of welding processes, NDT, hydrotesting, and inspection requirements for pressure vessels Ability to create manufacturing documentation, including GA drawings, P&ID, WPS, and QAPs Company Website - https://www.wootz.work/ Wootz.work: Engineering PossibilitiesWe provide precision engineering solutions, from custom fabrications to full assemblies.
