Senior Design Engineer

We are having a job opportunity for Screw Compressor Design profile at Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited at Hadapsar Pune location Role & responsibilities Lead or assist in the New Product Development (NPD) projects for compressor packages, focusing on electric screw or diesel engine-driven portable air compressors. Conduct detailed design of compressor packages, utilizing analytical calculations, simulations, 3D modeling, and detailing. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and instructional materials. Select the optimal prime mover (diesel engines) for compressor applications, collaborating closely with engine manufacturers for technical information and installation approvals. Apply in-depth knowledge for the design and selection of critical components, including heat exchangers, separation systems, filtration systems, and oil systems. Provide technical support to cross-functional teams, addressing field issues and customer complaints. Participate in product testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability. Perform troubleshooting of complex compressor systems, covering regulation, cooling, oil, and filtration systems. Undertake work assigned by supervisors, which may include site visits to clients or vendors for meetings, or to resolve system issues.
