Senior Database Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in database design, optimization, and maintenance, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a dedication to ensuring database performance, security, and scalability. Responsibilities Design and implement database structures Monitor database performance, ensuring optimal functionality Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, maintaining strict security and integrity Collaborate with development teams to optimize queries and integrate stored procedures Enhance the performance and scalability of database applications Manage and maintain replication processes, including Oracle CDC streams and Golden Gate replication Develop and maintain application-specific database systems Ensure consistent database uptime and reliability through proactive measures and regular maintenance Requirements 6-10 years of experience in Data Integration At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining Oracle database systems Deep understanding of relational database management concepts and practices Proficiency in Oracle database administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL development Capability to manage Oracle CDC streams replication Understanding of Oracle Golden Gate functionality Proficiency in database replication processes Background in application-specific database system design and maintenance Strong problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail Effective communication skills and team collaboration abilities Nice to have Fivetran HVR replication knowledge Skills in designing and implementing data warehouses and data lakes aligned with business objectives Show more Show less
