Job Description

We have additional billing for RSA support.Job Description Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle Database instances (12c/19c). Support daily database health checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Perform database backups and restores using RMAN and Data Pump. Help with user creation, roles, and permission management. Support database patching and upgrade activities. Participate in performance monitoring using AWR, ADDM, and OEM tools. Assist in resolving ORA errors, connection issues, and performance bottlenecks. Follow and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for database operations. Work closely with application and system teams on database-related issues. Support senior DBAs in disaster recovery drills and Data Guard maintenance (if applicable). Technical Skills Databases: Oracle 19c Operating Systems: Linux, OEL , Windows Server Tools: RMAN, Data Pump (expdp/impdp), ADRCI, SQL*Plus, OEM (Enterprise Manager) Concepts: Backup & Recovery, Performance Monitoring, Tablespace Management, ASM (basic knowledge) Scripting: Basic Shell scripting (preferred) Languages: SQL and PL/SQL (basic proficiency) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 1–2 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA (internship or full-time). Basic understanding of Oracle architecture, memory structures, and datafiles. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) – 12c / 19c KEY SKILLS: oracle dba
