Description
As a Database Management & Maintenance professional at UST, your role involves performing a variety of activities related to MSSQL, MongoDB, MySQL-RDS, and PostgreSQL databases. This includes tasks such as build, upgrade, patching, migration, and maintenance activities. You will be responsible for configuring and executing disaster recovery processes, monitoring database job failures, and ensuring high availability. Additionally, you will handle multiple assignments and deliver high-quality solutions simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: - Perform build, upgrade, patching, migration, and maintenance activities for MSSQL, MongoDB, MySQL-RDS, and PostgreSQL databases - Configure and execute disaster recovery processes, including failover and switchover activities - Monitor and resolve database job failures to ensure high availability - Handle multiple assignments and deliver high-quality solutions simultaneously Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience in MSSQL administration with switchover and failover operations - Proficiency in Goldengate for data replication and synchronization - Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager for database monitoring and performance tuning - Expertise in Always On, Log Shipping, and Replication of MSSQL databases - Experience in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining MSSQL, MongoDB, MySQL-RDS, and PostgreSQL databases - Ability to manage large databases (3TB+ in size) - Strong expertise in GCP, AWS, and Azure environments - Experience with AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, and equivalent Database as a Service (DBaaS) - Hands-on experience with version control and automation tools such as Praxis and GitHub - Knowledge of scripting and automation to optimize database management - Ability to design, implement, and monitor high-availability and disaster recovery solutions About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider with a focus on innovation and agility.
