Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for database management and maintenance activities for MSSQL, MongoDB, MySQL-RDS, and PostgreSQL databases. This includes performing build, upgrade, patching, migration, and maintenance tasks. You will configure and execute disaster recovery processes, monitor database job failures, and ensure high availability. Handling multiple assignments and delivering high-quality solutions simultaneously will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Perform MSSQL administration with hands-on experience in switchover and failover operations. - Utilize Goldengate for data replication and synchronization across environments. - Use Oracle Enterprise Manager for database monitoring and performance tuning. - Demonstrate expertise in Always On, Log Shipping, and Replication of MSSQL databases. - Provision, configure, and maintain MSSQL, MongoDB, MySQL-RDS, and PostgreSQL databases. - Manage large databases (3TB+ in size) efficiently. - Utilize your expertise in GCP, AWS, and Azure environments for cloud platforms. - Work with Database as a Service (DBaaS) tools like AWS RDS and Google Cloud SQL. - Utilize version control & automation tools such as Praxis and GitHub for automation and version management. - Experience with multi-cloud environments and managing complex hybrid databases is preferred. - Optimize database management through scripting and automation. - Design, implement, and monitor high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions effectively. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 10+ years of professional experience in MSSQL/MongoDB/MySQL database administration. - ITIL certification for process-oriented database management is preferred. - Possession of MSSQL/MongoDB/MySQL database certifications is advantageous. - AWS or GCP cloud certification is a plus.
