Senior Data Engineer – Azure / Snowflake (Insurance / Reinsurance)

Location: Remote – Tamil Nadu / Bangalore, India Experience: 5–7 Years

Work Hours: Partial U.S. East Coast Overlap Employment: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with Azure and Snowflake expertise to support a

reinsurance client’s enterprise data-modernization program. This role involves designing and

building scalable ETL and data-pipeline solutions for policy analytics, claims processing,

underwriting insights, and regulatory reporting, collaborating with U.S. stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

● Design and deliver ETL / data-pipeline frameworks using Azure Databricks (PySpark,

SparkSQL), ADF, Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, and Snowflake.

● Build and optimize data-lakehouse / warehouse systems for actuarial and enterprise

analytics.

● Implement CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps.

● Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability.

● Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and risk teams.

Required Skills & Experience

● 5–7 years in data engineering / data warehousing with Azure experience.

● Hands-on expertise in Databricks, ADF, Azure SQL / Synapse, Fabric, Snowflake, and

Azure DevOps (CI/CD).

● Strong grasp of data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.

● Insurance / reinsurance data domains experience preferred.

Pay: ₹556,957.88 - ₹1,943,725.92 per year
