Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst with expertise in Amazon

QuickSight to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience

in data analysis, visualization, and BI reporting, with a strong command of Amazon

QuickSight and AWS data services. This role will be responsible for designing and developing

interactive dashboards, generating actionable insights, and supporting data-driven

decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and maintain Amazon QuickSight dashboards and visualizations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL and other tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure data quality, governance, and efficient data pipeline integration.
• Build and optimize data models and datasets for reporting and self-service analytics.
• Interpret complex data sets and present insights through effective storytelling and visualizations.
• Monitor dashboard performance and implement improvements for better usability and performance.
• Provide end-user support and training on QuickSight dashboards and reporting tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight including SPICE datasets, calculated fields, and security configurations.
• Strong expertise in SQL for querying large datasets from RDS, Redshift, Athena, or similar sources.
• Experience working with AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue, Lambda) in a BI context.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Python or scripting languages is a plus.
• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage.

Preferred:

• AWS Certification (e.g., Data Analytics – Specialty or Solutions Architect).
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL concepts.
• Prior experience working in Agile teams.
