About Us:

About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our growing data team. This role is crucial in deriving KPIs and Actionable Insights to optimize product performance and support critical decision-making. The ideal candidate should have Strong Analytical skills, a Data-Driven mindset, and the ability to drive Automation of Data Processes for Efficiency and Scalability. Additionally, the role involves creating and maintaining dashboards to enable clear Data Visualization and Reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

• KPI Definition & Tracking: Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and share actionable insights with internal teams and customers.
• Strategic Decision Support: Work closely with the Core Team to generate insights for critical projects and high-priority business decisions.
• Automation of Data related processes for Efficiency and Scalability.
• Dashboard Development & Insights: Quickly create and manage interactive dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Power BI, Looker) to monitor key performance metrics and product performance.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Perform deep-dive analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes behind fluctuations in key metrics.
• Data Storytelling: Present findings in a clear, compelling, and visually engaging manner, translating complex data into meaningful narratives.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to support data-driven decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

• B.Tech degree or a Masters in Statistics or any other relevant field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and MongoDB for data analysis and process automation.
• Strong proficiency with BI tools like Metabase, Power BI, Looker, Quicksight, etc.
• Ability to quickly analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
• Hands-on experience with Statistical analysis.
• Expertise in data visualization and creating compelling reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform quick RCA for identifying underlying issues.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present findings effectively.
• Passion for working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Enthusiastic and highly energetic approach to work.

Preferred:

• Masters degree in Statistics, a PhD, or other advanced qualifications in a relevant field.
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and their data services.
• Hands-on experience with Statistical analysis.
• Prior experience in a sustainability, or IoT domain is a plus.
