Job title : Senior Credit and Collections Specialist Location : Hyderabad, Telangana, India - On-Site Contract type : Permanent Contract duration : Not applicable Salary : Confidential (below 12 LPA) About the role We have an exciting opportunity for our client, a renowned tech company, to work as a Senior Credit and Collections Specialist focusing on the US/Canada region. You will be part of Gainsight’s shared services accounting team in Hyderabad and will play a vital role in optimizing collections and ensuring a healthy cash flow. Responsibilities Develop and implement collection strategies to improve recovery of outstanding balances Oversee accounts receivable collections for US/Canada-based clients Generate and analyze AR aging reports to ensure timely payments Communicate and negotiate effectively with internal teams and external customers to resolve payment disputes Escalate overdue accounts following established protocols, including legal escalations if needed Assist with managing AR entries, bad debt allowance calculations, and monthly reporting Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, and legal teams to drive process improvements Requirements Must currently be based within a 50-mile radius around Hyderabad, India Must have 5–7 years of accounts receivable and collections experience, particularly with US/Canada-based clients Must have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution Strong experience in generating and analyzing AR aging reports Excellent communication and negotiation skills Preferred Skills Exposure to legal collections processes Familiarity with automation tools Proven track record of implementing new collection strategies successfully Application process The first step is a short video call with Holly, our AI recruiter, who works closely with the hiring team on this role.
