Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle Workday Payroll implementations, from requirements gathering and design to configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on payroll-related Workday issues, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Guide clients through payroll configuration decisions, compliance considerations, and best practices.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants and client team members.
• Troubleshoot complex payroll issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive resolution strategies.
• Manage project timelines, risks, scope, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Financials) to ensure seamless integration.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on process optimization, system enhancements, and future-state payroll models.
  

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Workday Payroll configuration and implementation.
• Proven experience leading Workday projects or large workstreams with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and/or global payroll processing, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and technical teams alike.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related field.
• Workday Payroll Pro Certification is a plus.
