We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Claims Handler to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing insurance claims from initial intake through to resolution, ensuring a smooth and compliant process while delivering exceptional service to claimants. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a thorough understanding of insurance principles.
Receiving and logging new claims, verifying policy details, and assessing the validity of the claim based on policy conditions.
Collecting necessary information and documentation from claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties, including photographs, reports, and financial records.
Maintaining communication with claimants, solicitors, loss adjusters, and other professionals involved in the claim process.
Maintaining accurate records of all claim-related activities, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulations.
Providing excellent customer service to claimants throughout the claim process, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
Identifying and investigating potential fraudulent claims.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
