Senior Civil Engineer

We are looking for a Professional with +12 Years of expertise in Project Planning and execution in Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) Project Site. Please read carefully under mentioned Job Description before applying for the position.

A Engineer for Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC) oversees the entire lifecycle of projects involving GRC elements, from initial design and manufacturing to final installation. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Management: Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables. Develop detailed schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project, monitor progress, and manage resource allocation and budgets.
• Technical & Design Oversight: Review GRC shop drawings, method statements, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with architectural and structural requirements. Liaise with architects, consultants, and engineers for necessary approvals.
• Quality Control & Safety: Enforce strict quality assurance protocols during GRC manufacturing (e.g., mix design, curing, fibres dispersion) and installation processes. Conduct regular inspections at both the factory and site, and ensure adherence to safety guidelines and relevant standards such as the GRCA or PCI guidelines.
• Coordination & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate effectively with various internal teams (design, production, procurement, installation) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors, suppliers, local authorities).
• Problem-Solving & Reporting: Identify and resolve issues or delays that arise during the project lifecycle. Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to clients and upper management, documenting all stages of work.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is typically required.
• Experience: Significant experience in project management within the construction industry, with specific knowledge of GRC, GFRC, or precast concrete applications, facades, and cladding systems.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction drawings, site execution plans, quality management systems, and project management software. Familiarity with specific GRC production processes is essential.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for coordinating diverse teams and managing client expectations.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) can be beneficial.
