Senior Category Manager

As a City Head for Coimbatore with Worko.ai's client, a fast-growing unicorn startup in the logistics sector, your role will involve overseeing the growth of the entire city through various demand and supply levers to ensure a better experience for all stakeholders. You will need strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, along with proficiency in people management, problem-solving, and process improvement/optimization. - Responsible for P&L management of the city to ensure better profitability and growth. - Identify and fulfill supply requirements by planning supply cluster activities, considering zonal and seasonal nuances. Explore new channels of acquisition to optimize supply growth and reduce acquisition costs. - Identify potential growth levers in all categories and plan awareness/adoption activities through offline and online channels for demand growth. Drive branding and other BTL activities for offline brand presence. - Drive growth through customer lifecycle management, from acquisition to retention. Execute Demand Cluster Activity for inorganic customer acquisition and zonal-level growth. - Improve overall wallet share of customers through cross-selling and strategic initiatives. - Explore new city and category launches for growth beyond existing categories. - Enhance customer and partner experience. - Conduct competition analysis to derive insights on pricing, demand strength, and service quality parameters. - Manage, develop, and train a high-performing team for excellent performance and process adherence, including Assistant Managers. - Act as a liaison between central and city team members to provide qualitative on-ground feedback for better growth. Qualifications Required: - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to build rapport. - Effective time management and planning skills. - Proficiency in people management. Mandatory Requirements: - Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Category Management or P&L management in e-commerce, logistics, or internet marketplace industry, with a maximum of 9 years of experience. - Proven track record of managing large teams (more than 15-20 members) and collaborating with multiple stakeholders. - Thorough knowledge of local markets and industries. - Deep knowledge of industry trends and experience in competitor analysis, research, and benchmarking.,
