Job Summary

The Senior Captain is responsible for supervising restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality guest service, and maintaining smooth coordination among staff. The role focuses on upholding service standards, managing daily activities, and assisting the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure excellent guest service and satisfaction at all times.
• Supervise and support the service team to maintain consistency and efficiency.
• Conduct daily briefings to communicate menu details, specials, and service expectations.
• Oversee restaurant setup, cleanliness, and readiness before each shift.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Monitor adherence to hygiene, safety, and standard operating procedures.
• Train and mentor staff in service techniques, menu knowledge, and guest engagement.
• Assist in cost control, inventory management, and achieving sales targets.
• Ensure billing accuracy and maintain proper documentation and daily reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in restaurant operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant billing procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
