Senior Power BI Developer (SAP Experience) Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer with experience in SAP to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions that integrate Power BI with SAP data sources. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data modeling, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights from SAP data. Integrate Power BI with SAP HANA, SAP Retail, and other SAP data sources to ensure seamless data extraction and visualization. Design and optimize data models for efficient reporting and analytics. Implement DAX calculations and Power Query transformations to enhance report functionality. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance in BI solutions. Troubleshoot and optimize Power BI performance for large datasets. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or a closely related field. 8+ years of experience in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Experience working with SAP HANA, SAP Retail, and SAP BusinessObjects. Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data. Experience with ETL processes and data integration techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure Data Services and cloud-based BI solutions.
