Senior Business Intelligence Developer

As a Sr. Power BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing data visualizations and reports on the Power BI platform to revolutionize the financial industry. You will collaborate with product and technology teams to make a significant impact on business initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive customer conversations to define requirements and technical solutions for data and related applications. - Establish the Center of Excellence (CoE) model within the organization and lead BI initiatives actively. - Define metrics and KPIs for effective decision-making. - Develop KPI dashboards in Power BI. - Integrate various data sources to create data visualizations based on business needs. - Formulate a data strategy and data model for a unified data layer to consolidate metrics data from different analytics tools. - Optimize Power BI performance and implement security measures. - Design reporting solutions using DAX queries. - Implement Gateways as needed. - Utilize Power Apps and/or Power Automate based on requirements. - Customize visualizations using external JavaScript libraries to enhance dashboard design according to user experience requirements. **Qualifications:** - 6+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI architecture and development. - 4+ years of experience in strategic data planning, standards, procedures, and governance. - 4+ years of experience in data quality engineering, metadata consolidation and integration, metadata model development and maintenance, repository management, etc. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in integrating data sources within the Power BI environment. - Experience in implementing and working with Gateways. - Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate. - Understanding of SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS. - 1+ years of experience in Python scripting. - 1+ year of hands-on experience in implementing and using CI/CD framework technologies such as Jenkins or Bamboo and overall understanding of code management using GIT. - Experience with RESTful Web Service Design. - Experience with AWS, Azure, or other Cloud-based PaaS/SaaS environments. - Familiarity with technologies and frameworks such as SQL Server, PostGres SQL, MongoDB, NoSQL. - 3+ years of experience working as a member of an Agile team. - Excellent communication and project coordination skills.,
