Job Description

As a Senior Business Development Representative at SquareShift in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through strategic outbound sales initiatives. With 6-8 years of proven sales experience, you will lead our outbound prospecting efforts, identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with key prospects. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing strategic outbound prospecting campaigns across various channels such as email, phone, social media, and events. You will research and target high-value prospects within specific accounts and industries, qualifying leads through discovery calls and strategic questioning techniques. Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities will be essential to your role. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders. Conducting product demonstrations and presentations, representing SquareShift at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, and maintaining regular follow-ups with prospects will be part of your relationship-building efforts. Collaborating closely with sales teams, you will develop account-specific strategies and approaches, providing market intelligence and competitive insights to internal stakeholders. Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly lead generation targets, as well as maintaining accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system, are key components of your sales strategy and execution. In addition to your individual contributions, you will guide and mentor junior BDR team members, sharing best practices and successful strategies. Participation in training programs, knowledge-sharing sessions, and contributing to process improvements and sales methodology development will be part of your responsibilities as a team leader. To excel in this role, you should have 6-8 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, and proficiency in CRM systems and sales engagement tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, along with a deep understanding of technology solutions, digital transformation trends, and consultative selling methodologies, are required. Your personal attributes should include being self-motivated, results-driven, organized, resilient, and a strong problem solver. A Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, experience in technology/IT services industry, certifications in sales methodologies, and familiarity with account-based marketing strategies are preferred qualifications.
