The role of a Business Analyst (BA) is one of detailed analysis and clear communication. It involves identifying assumptions, translating software jargon for the intended audience Detailed Analysis: BAs perform detailed analysis by identifying assumptions, translating software jargon, and spotting misunderstandings early in the project1. They bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. Clear Communication: BAs ensure successful project delivery by communicating effectively. They document and analyze business requirements, making sure they align with the project’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience as a business analyst in US P&C insurance domain
• Good understanding of Guidewire product suites, especially

  ClaimCenter

• Has good understanding of commercial line policies.
• Is an independent contributor.
• Is required to work with onsite counterpart as well as direct customer on BA activities and deliverables.
• Will provide pre-construction walkthrough to development and QA teams.
• Will attend post-construction walkthroughs to ensure the developed feature is in line with requirements.
• Will own BA deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience:

• A successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in GW CC or 3+ years on any other COTS product as a business analyst.
• Has worked on GW CC or other COTS implementation project for personal or commercial lines as a business analyst.
• Has worked on at least 3 of the following areas during policy admin system implementation – UI, UW issues, Rating, Forms, Product Model.
• Has good functional understanding of GW OOTB products.
• Having BC and PC knowledge is an added advantage.
