Senior Business Analyst

You will work closely with stakeholders and use your skills in SQL and data analysis to drive successful project outcomes. Responsibilities

• Support business analysis activities and develop detailed requirements for the dataflow product backlog
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritize business needs
• Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Conduct data analysis and validate findings using SQL
• Assist in solution design ensuring compliance with IFRS 17 and life and health accounting standards
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and backlog grooming
• Maintain traceability and document data flows and business rules

Requirements

• Extensive Business Analysis experience with 7+ years in the insurance or reinsurance sectors
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques
• Background in working within agile environments and familiarity with Azure DevOps
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Capability to produce clear and comprehensive documentation
• Understanding of IFRS 17 accounting standards and related financial reporting

Nice to have

• Experience with IFRS 17 programs or financial reporting systems
• Familiarity with life and health accounting processes and data structures
• Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives
