Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Billing Engineer to manage and oversee all billing, contractual, and financial aspects of our construction projects. The role involves preparing client bills, subcontractor bills, verifying quantities, and ensuring timely certification and payments in compliance with project contracts and company policies. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills with a deep understanding of project billing and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify client bills (RA Bills, Final Bills) and ensure timely submission for certification.
• Check, verify, and process subcontractor/vendor bills as per agreements and work progress.
• Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and compare with executed work.
• Maintain and monitor BOQ (Bill of Quantities), rate analysis, and work order compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and clients for billing-related approvals.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare reconciliation statements for materials, quantities, and payments.
• Handle cost estimation, budget preparation, and assist in tendering processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all billing activities.
• Provide monthly reports on billing status, cash flow, and project financials to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in billing, estimation, and contracts in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and contract management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP systems (preferred).
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
