Senior Backend Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
• Review code, mentor peers, and uphold quality standards.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Work with DevOps to ensure smooth AWS deployments.
• Stay current with backend and cloud technology trends.

Job qualifications:

• 3–8 years’ backend development experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong skills in

  Java

  and/or

  Golang

  (Node.js a plus).
• Solid experience with

  Postgres, MongoDB, Redis

  .
• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong SQL/NoSQL query skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus Skills

• React or frontend tech experience.
• Message brokers (RabbitMQ, AWS SNS/SQS).
• Agile/Scrum experience.
