Job Brief:

Technical Expectations:

• Audit Leadership:

1. Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments.
2. Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
3. Review and approve audit work papers, financial statements, and related reports.

• Client Relationship Management:

1. Build and nurture strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of client needs.
2. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients for improving financial processes and controls.

• Team Management:

1. Supervise and mentor audit teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
2. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development.

• Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

1. Identify and assess audit risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential issues.
2. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues affecting clients.

• Quality Assurance:

1. Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness of audit work though documentation.
2. Conduct regular internal reviews to enhance the overall quality of audit services.

• Technical Expertise:

1. Stay current on changes in accounting standards (Ind AS and AS), standards on auditing (SA), Taxation, Companys Act and other regulatory changes.
2. Provide expert advice on complex accounting and auditing matters to the audit team.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in the Audit and Assurance department, preferably with a reputable accounting firm.
• In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
• Client-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
