For donors and the general public, more standard and coherent versions of the plans and reports are produced centrally and contain the needed information to attract funding at country-level. In this connection, the Global Strategic Planning and Reporting Centre (also referred to as the Global Reporting Centre) was established in late 2023, in New Delhi, India to produce the IFRC network country plans and standard narrative reports against the plans. This position is located in New Delhi, India. Job Purpose As part of the Global Strategic Planning and Reporting Centre in New Delhi, the primary purpose of the internship is to support reporting content, data visualization and design work of the IFRC network country plans and reports. The secondary purposes of the internship cover a wide spectrum of regular and ad hoc duties including (and not limited to) production tracking and administrative support. Job Duties and Responsibilities Depending on the personal skills set of the successful candidate, the intern will be required to undertake some or all of the following complementary work: Provide research support in reference to documents produced by the centre, working in close consultation and coordination with the centre’s lead or reporting officers. OIAI’s investigations team responds to instances of misconduct; owns IFRC’s whistleblowing system (Integrity Line) and its intake function; carries out prevention activities; and provides training and capacity building on investigations, intake, audit, assurance, and integrity topics, to IFRC and its members. Job Purpose With the support of the Investigations Manager and Senior Investigator, the Investigator (Unqualified) contributes to delivering individual investigation assignments and tasks. The role also requires study towards professional qualification. OIAI will fund study (using a distance learning model) towards a professional investigation qualification. The investigator (unqualified) will be expected to study in their own time but will be provided time off for exam preparation. The Investigator (Unqualified) will be given a departmental buddy, and where possible, an external mentor, who, in conjunction with their line manager, will work to support their professional study and personal development. Job Duties and Responsibilities Investigations delivery: With the support of the Investigations Manager, contribute to the delivery of investigations assignments and tasks, including gathering evidence, carrying out interviews, and drafting reports.
